A drabble called "Flowing"

 I was scrolling through the voyager writing game posts a few days ago and came across this one and thought I'd give it a try:
Write a drabble (100w) from the perspective of a character you've never written before and inspired by the word "awe".

I'm not giving any tags here other than to say it expands a memorable scene in a Voyager episode. The rest, you will have to read to figure it out! 😉😉 

Flowing.

Filling, spilling.

Pouring. Exploring.

Liquid, luscious, lovely, lots       

and lots

Wondrous, wet. Washing, sploshing, splashing, playing. I haven't felt this free in years. It's like I'm back, back, 

Home. 

There was enough there for everyone. Rivers. We never went thirsty.

I won't think of home now, not when this is so much fun! Just ask for more, stack it up high. What a fascinating ship. I could live like this. But not without my sweeting, I couldn't be happy knowing where she is. Beastly Kazon. But these people are so advanced, so superior...

Just look at all this water!

Oh, this is great!! Neelix was always so enthusiastic and open about enjoying things, and that's such a fun and oddly brave character trait. Also makes me realize that I don't think he and Janeway evr bonded over their shared love of baths? I hope they both got to take shore leave on a magical hotspring resort planet some time.

I have come to appreciate Neelix quite a bit more since I wrote this! I'd never written a drabble before and it was kind of fun. Thank you for reading it and for your comment ☺
